About Us
The Lightening Society opened in December 2021 and is conveniently located on Milwaukie Avenue in Southeast, Portland. It has a west coast industrial interior located underneath the Cora apartments.
We wanted to create a cohesive & simple space for stylists to come together creatively. The salon offers freedom to work whenever you want and the opportunity for each independent stylists to grow exponentially! Each stylists has their own retail curated for their clientele. All of our stylists specialize in lightening hair and are very talented!
The Owner
Tiffany has always dreamed of creating her own salon with cruelty free retail products, incredible lighting and a cool modern vibe. She wanted to unite blonding specialists and have a team that elevates each other.
