Hi there! I'm Tiffany , the owner of The Lightening Society salon.
As a stylist , my favorite thing is to enhance and transform my guests hair through lightening and depth .
I have always especially been passionate about blonding and bob haircuts.
I love staying on top of the latest trends in hair and fashion, ensuring you leave my chair feeling and looking cool and confident .
But hair isn't all I love! I'm also a Libra , artist , proud vegan mama of two, and have an awesome partner who helped me build what you see today at TLS.
My personal story has motivated me to support manifestations and create a salon space that other independent stylists would thrive . My goal is to foster a welcoming successful community . Let's create something amazing together!

Hi. I’m Matti and I’ve been doing hair for 13 years! I specialize in all things blonde and haircutting. I love creating lived-in hair that grows out super soft and grows out effortlessly! We can create a grow out and refresh plans that suit both your lifestyle & budget!
Outside of the salon, I am mom to one human child and two little puppy children! I love shows and movies- I guarantee you’ll leave every appointment with a new watchlist!
I love to paddle board, go camping, and hiking. I’m passionate about all things crafty including crocheting, painting, drawing, needle punching, and creating digital artwork.

Stefanie has been a licensed cosmetologist for 12 years and loves every second of it. She enjoys creating fantasy colors, thrives on making people feel their best, and loves to build strong, trusting relationships with her clients.
Her passion is focused on hair coloring. Stefanie has a great knowledge in color theory and loves to create colors that are dimensional, vibrant, and long lasting. She believes in learning continuously and wants to provide modern techniques and styles.
She also loves to provide cuts for longer hair/long bobs,conditioning treatments, and knowledge on products/upkeep. Stefanie wants to serve your lived-in beachy blonde client all the way to your magical rainbow haired client, she wants to provide it all to you!!

Hi! I’m Amber! I graduated from a Paul Mitchell school in 2008 and have been working in Portland doing hair for 16 years now! Over the years I have done multiple trainings and classes with Paul Mitchell, Oribe, Hanzo, Kevin Murphy and more. I love staying current with hair trends and continuing my education.
I specialize in working with thick long hair and mixed textures but feel confident with all heads of hair. I love creating dimension lived in blondes, grey blending and vibrant copper reds. I also pride myself in working fast and efficiently and offering color solutions that can grow out beautifully to accommodate maintenance based on my clients preferences.
I am also a personal trainer, reiki practitioner ( see my reiki scalp massage on my list of services! ) and single mom of 2. I love making people feel good on the inside as well as the outside. In my free time I am usually with my kids and our chihuahua Lucy. I love staying active, cooking plant based, training jiu jitsu and in general, I dork out on all things health and wellness. I hope to meet you soon!

Welcome! My name is Sam (she/her) and I have been a hairstylist since 2014. I joined The Lightening Society Salon in 2023, and have loved it so much! Giving timeless, easy-care, quality haircuts is my art form of choice. I also enjoy educating my clients on our Kevin Murphy product, and how choosing the right product for you can make your hair-care even easier, healthier, more beautiful. My goal is to leave my clients feeling refreshed and confident, and consulting with them to bring their vision to life.
In my free time I love nothing more than having fun with my husband and twins, early morning walks, listening to all kinds of music, and reading by the fire with my two cats.

As an artist of many mediums, I’m most inspired by natural beauty. This makes my approach as a hairstylist intuitive and organic. I love to create beautiful, truly lived-in color and haircuts that feel effortless and right. My style? Timeless, feminine, and romantic. My goal? To help you build a lasting love affair with your hair.
I’ve been a hairstylist for nearly 14 years and I’m still deeply passionate about my work. I stay current with industry standards through continuing education, but push myself to create my own standards which reflect who I am as an artist. Always and forever pursuing new avenues of creativity and skills.
On a personal note…I’m a mom to a teenage girl. If you know, you know. I’m obsessed with your dog. I love to garden, dance, cook, make art, listen to music, see shows, binge watch, a good marg on a Friday night, river days, coffee in bed, and a whole lot more. Partnered up with my boo, Jason.
